Kwesi Armah Appears In Court Today: Kwesi Armah, former Ghanaian High Commissioner in London, was re-arrested last night, hours after being released from prison by the House of Lords. He was taken to Bow Street police station and held in custody for a court appearance today on a charge alleging miappropriation of Ghana Government funds. But later Armah was again released. Mr. George Calthorpe, Armah's solicitor, called on Mr. Justice Roskill in his chambers in the Temple last night. A few minutes later Mr. Calthorpe said : "The judge has granted bail for Mr. Armah." "Armah walked from Bow Street police station with his solicitor just after 10:45 p.m. Armah said "The judge was marvellous, absolutely first class.' Mr. Calthorpe added: "I have been told that when the case comes up in court tomorrow an application will be made to withdraw the warrant. Mr. Armah will be free once more."
