Upper Clyde crisis. Scottish deputation in London.: A four-man deputation led by Mr. Raymond MacDonald, chairman of the Scottish T.U.C. travelled to London to meet Sir John Eden, Joint Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, for talks on the Upper Clyde crisis. Photo shows pictured on their arrival at the Ministry of Trade and Industry today are (L to R): Mr. Bill Tweedy, General Council member of the Scottish T.U.C.; Mr, James Milne, Assistant General Secretary of the Scottish T.U.C.; Mr. Raymond MacDonald, chairman of the Scottish T.U.C., and Mr. William Hutchinson, chairman of the T.U.C. Committee U.C.S. joint committee.
