Norman Ure Goes To No. 10: The Ted Heath Bunkside Book by Norman Ure is published by Leslie Frewis today, and to commemorate the publication of this, his latest book, Ure visited No. 10 today to present an autographed copy of the book to the Prime Minister. For reasons best known to himself, Norman Ure wishes to remain anonymous. So when he rode his boneshakeng bike to Downing Street for the presentation, he wore a Gannex overcoat, an extremely life-like mask of the ex-occupant of No. 10, Harold Wilson, and smoked a pipe. Photo shows Norman Ure pictured outside No. 10 today with a copy of his book in one hand, and a case with the words "E.E.C. For Me" written on it, in the other.
