1965 Press Photo Waterfall tumbles over rocks from Deception Creek in Washington

Water on the Rocks: Tumbling over the rocks in a seemingly endless waterfall, Deception Creek rushes from its source high in the Cascade Mountains in Western Washington. The deafening roar is heard by few humans. So wild is much of the area that 14 planes have been lost and never found since 1953.
