Description
Balloons are popular subjects for photographers, including Othell O. Owensby, Chronicle staffer. He silhouetted these balloons against a setting sun. The sun silhouettes a group of hot air balloons launched from a field in northwest Houston. It appears that area balloon pilots will have to wait awhile for the county to build a balloon port. Several hot air balloons were being launched off of Windfern Road in Northwest Houston out halfway between FM 1960 altogether. Note the three inflated and on the ground as the sun silhouettes them in the sky.
