Description
Old St. Nick was making early rounds in Houston Saturday as he prepared for his worldwide rounds on Christmas Eve. In the photo at left, twins Tiffany and Timothy Jackson loudly indicate that sometimes a man with a white beard and a red suit can be scary to a youngster, even if he is supposed to bring presents. The two were attending a party at First Christian Church, 1601 Sunset. Above, Si NI, 12, is grateful as she happily receives a Christmas present from the jolly old elf at a party sponsored by the YMCA for about 70 Cambodian refugee children, some of whom are experiencing their first Christmas in the United States.
