Wayan, Idaho - A whooping crane chick, right, follows its foster parents, two sandhill cranes, at the Greys Lake National Wildlife Refuge near Wayan. Scientists are trying to establish a second flock of the endangered whoopers by placing their eggs in crane nests. Nine have hatched. There are 49 whoopers left in the world. Whooping Cranes
