Carol Channing long distanced from New York with the happy news that Pearl Bailey just inked a contract to co-star with Carol on one of her ABC TV specials, to be taped in early fall. The name of the show, starring the two most famous "Hello, Dolly!" stars, will be titled "Carol and her Friend Pearl"... Incidentally, Carol's off to Puerto Rico for a few days before arriving here August 6 for her August 9 opening at the Cork.
