This United States (U.S.) Air Force C-5 Galaxy opens wide to take aboard an Army mobile scissors bridge launcher in loading tests currently in progress at Fort Hood. This 121,800-pound launcher is the heaviest single piece of Army equipment ever driven into the Lockheed Galaxy's cargo compartment. In the tests, two of the massive vehicles, weighting almost 245,000 pounds, drive into the C-5 at the same time. Ft. Hood. USAF. This is heavy.
