Thailand - Hill Tribes - While her granddaughter looks on in fascination, Akha tribeswoman unwinds spool of fiber made from finely split sections of bamboo. The fiber will be eventually used to make mats or wall coverings. An Akha grandmother unwinds a spool of bamboo fiber, used for mats or wall coverings.
