John D. Murchison of Dallas, Texas, well known business leaders and philanthropist, was elected Chairman of the Board in the United States Appeal of the World Wildlife Fund, it was announced today by Doctor Ira N. Gabrielson, President of the World Wildlife Fund, Washington, District of Columbia. The World Wildlife Fund, or WWF, a private conservation organization with supporting appeals throughout the world, seeks to save birds and animals threatened with extermination.
