Among those present when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt dedicated the new Federal Reserve Building in Washington October 20 was Thomas G. Corcoran, down in Capitol Hill's Blue Book as counsel for the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, but credited off the book with the drafting of much New Deal legislation and its passage on Capitol Hill.
