Right Reverend Monsignor John J. Cassata expects changes in Catholic procedure, clarification of doctrine and efforts to unite Christendom when the Second Vatican Council reconvenes in September, 1963. The vicar general of the Galveston-Houston Catholic Diocese attended the council sessions as representative of the ailing Most Reverend W. J. Nold, the bishop, but did not have a vote in the proceedings. He is pastor of Holy Name parish, 1917 Cochran Street, Houston, Texas.
