Campbell M. Carothers, president of Brown Equipment and Service Tools, Incorporated "B.E.S.T" new subsidiary of Brown Oil Tools Incorporated of Houston. Carothers was formerly Executive Assistant to the President of Standard Oil Company of New Jersey and was active in Humble's initial planning for offshore operations as well as the design and construction of the company's first floating drilling vessel.
