Venezuelans waited until political season was over. Mrs. Elias Casado, Consul General Casado, Brazil's Mrs. Hugo Vergueiro. Elias Casado, consul general of Venezuela, has been exiled three times from his homeland for his opposition to certain political parties, once as a student in 1937, once in 1945 by ex-president Romulo Betancourt and once in 1951 by dictator Perez Jiminez. In 1958, after his last exile, having become a world traveler, he undertook special missions for his country and in 1964 became consul general here.
