Description
Lull in the storm. The late Povl Bang-Jensen, former United Nations staff member, appeared in good spirits as he posed with his family before sailing for home leave in Denmark in 1957. But he was already involved in the dispute that led to his dismissal from the UN staff. Members of the family, who survive him, include Lars 8 (front), and (left to right) Nina 4, Karen 16, Per 14, Lise 10, and Mrs. Helen Bang-Jensen.
