Description
Deer Park teachers in the observing lab and behind a one-way mirror watch Edward Cushman, space mobile lecturer from Washington, D.C., conduct a lesson for sixth grade students. A television video tapes the lesson for future use and for loan to schools. At right, a microphone dangles from the air and records students' comments to Cushman's lesson in space related concepts. At far right, the five cameras focused on the classroom and the video taping is being controlled by Bill Blanton, a television technician, Mrs. Audean Allman, coordinator of the center; and Victor Driscoll, MacGregor School principal, seated left to right. Standing at another control board is Jerry Hunter, a representative from the firm who installed the closed circuit equipment. Houston, Texas - Schools (by name) - Mac Gregor Elementary. (McGregor)
