Description
Foxes Two little gray foxes pictured (girl fox naps at right) will soon the three little foxes, after a visit from the stork. The pair, sharing a cage at Pasadena's E. A. Dickerson Zoo, have been mates two years, according to David Culbreth, recreational specialist. Mama's first litter of kits died because of the lack of sheltering burrow. Now, thanks to the zoo officials, there's a special "fox box" in the cage, where Asa can hide her off spring. The box, and built about 2 feet off the ground, has a removable entry ramp and a private, box sized doorway for quick entries and exits.
