Dogs, Houston. Mrs. Gerrie Daniels works with stray. Errand Of Mercy, Mrs. Gerrie Daniels, 26, a social worker comforts a stray dog she found injured today on Riesner St. near the central police station. The animal had been struck by a car and suffered a mangled leg. She took the dog to a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals clinic, accompanied by a sympathetic policeman on his motorcycle. Officials at the clinic said the dog will lose its leg but they hoped to save its life.
