University of St. Thomas. St. Thomas Honors Guinan, Workmen erect a new sign on Vincent J. Guinan Hall, a two-story dormitory on the University of St. Thomas campus. Trustees this week named the hall after Guinan, a priest and founding president of the University. Guinan died last Sunday of lung cancer at the age of 74.
