Chimpanzees. Dietmar Polasek, 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Polasek, 1403 Beaver Bend in northwest Harris County, nurses "Grandpa," the family's pet chimpanzee which was slightly wounded by a neighbor after the animal escaped from a backyard cage and began overturning the neighbor's garbage cans. The neighbor, Doris Ann Wisenbaker, said she shot the chimp in the leg with a .22-caliber pistol. The Polaseks, who have owned the chimp for about three years, said neighborhood children may have released it from its cage.
