Description
Cats. Love is Not Blind, It's long been a popular conception that "justice is blind." Maybe so, but love isn't. Not when it's Mother Love, according to Mrs. C.L. Jackson of 1011 Doris, Deer Park. The Jacksons and and their children, Ross, 8, and Dawn, 4, are proud of the mother love expressed by their blind cat, 1-1/2-year-old Snowball. Blinded when hit by a car, Snowball still is the perfect mother, feeding and bathing her 6-month-old kittens and rounding them up when they wander out of their basket home. She watches over them with the eyes of love, Mrs. Jackson says, and her concern has become contagious to the Jacksons' three dogs who stand watch-at a respectful distance. Snowball lost her first kittens due to the accident; they were born dead. The doctor had to remove one of Snowball's injured eyes and had hoped sight might return to the other, but it did not.
