1956 Press Photo Construction of Humble Oil and Refining Co., Houston, Texas

There's a big hole behind this pole of dirt at Humble Oil and Refining Co.'s Baytown refinery, and its growing bigger all the time. It's where the company will build an expansion to its butadiene plant, behind the dirt pile, to raise capacity report to be a multimillion dollar job. It is scheduled for competition early next year.
