Description
Caption: Familiar Paris Scene - Rene Pleven former French premier, faces interviewers outside Elysee Palace after telling President Rene Coty that he will try to form France's 24th postwar government. Pleven, considered unlikely to be able to muster the necessary National Assembly majority, was flown to Paris from his Brittany vacation spot. Premier Maurice Bourges-Maunoury's government fell a week ago on the Algerian home rule issue.
