Description
Caption: A Boat Trip Under the City -- These are two of the 10 men responsible for the safety of 2,800 miles of Detroit's underground drainage system. Most of the piping is so large, the men find it convenient to patrol by boat - life raft, that is. The men above, from left, are Vern Bentz and Leo Donahue. They are in a storm drain next to Ford Auditorium.
