Caption: CANDIDATE FOR CHANCELLOR--Kurt Georg Kiesinger, the minister-president of Baden-Wuerttemberg, is all smiles as he walks past newsmen to the Bundestag in Bonn today where the dominant West German Christian Democratic party selected him as its candidate to succeed Ludwig Erhard as chancellor. Kiesinger now must try to get enough votes from other parties to win a majority. the Christian Democrats are four votes short of the necessary 249 in the Bundestag. Kiesinger is 62.
