Caption: Kerr Answers Committee Charges--University of California President Clark Kerr, right, held a news conference today on the campus, to deny charges made by a State Senate Committee in Sacramento. The committee charged that Kerr had allowed the UC Berkeley campus to become a Communist haven and a center for sexual deviation. Kerr labeled the report as inaccurate and said it contained "distortions, half truths, inaccuracies and statements and situations taken out of context" Chancellor Roger W.
