Description
Caption: ?I don?t really remember it as a bad time,? says Kurt Keydel. Keydel and his two brothers sold anything made of paper door-to-door. Dusting paper for polishing furniture, paper dust mops, bird cage liners ? if it was made of paper it was cheap, and Depression-poor America snapped it up. They expanded, and in their heyday, they had 2,700 sales people. A good agent could make $100 a week.
