Caption: APPLAUSE FOR MR. K.--Nikita Khrushchev acknowledges delegates' applause with his own applause as is the Russian custom, during his address to the 22nd Soviet Communist Party Congress in Moscow today. The Russian premier insisted he wants only peace and accused the western powers of threatening war over Berlin. Seated at left in first row is Frol Kozlov, secretary of the Soviet Communist Party Central Committee.
