Caption: FREEDOM FIGHTER WINS PH.D.--Dr. Bela Kalman Kiraly, former major general in the Hungarian army and commander of the Freedom Fighters, who led the 1956 uprising against Communist oppression, models cap and gown he will wear in June at Columbia University commencement exercises when he will be granted a Doctorate of Philosophy. For the past two years Kiraly, 54, has been on the faculty of New York's Brooklyn College.
