1966 Press Photo Hair Transplants Bill Kennedy

Caption: Nearly Bald last year, CKLW-TV movie host Bill Kennedy had 90 tufts of hair transplanted to the top of his head in two operations (left above). Hairbearing plugs of skin were cut from the back of his head (right above), which looks none the worse for it's sacrifice. Just after the second operation, new tufts on his crown were beginning to sprout (right), while first "crop" on forecrown had already reached luxurious growth.
