Caption: (NY14-March 25) ORBITAL PATH OF EXPLORER X-- This is the path of Explorer X which was successfully fired into orbit atop a Thor-Delta rocket from Cape Canaveral, Fla., today. The 78-pound satellite is a space laboratory designed to study mysterious magnetic fields and the intensity of solar winds.
