Caption: Artist concept shows how eight satellites will be positioned atop a Titan 3 rocket scheduled for launching from Cape Kennedy Thursday. Drawing shows satellites in Christmas-tree-like arrangement as protective shroud falls away. Satellites are still attached to second and third stages of the rocket. Seven of the satellites are to spread around the world to form a military communication network. The eighth is to test a means of stabilizing a payload.
