Caption: MICHIGAN STATE WINS BIG TEN CROSS COUNTRY RUN--Henry Kennedy, Michigan State University sophomore who lives in Toronte, Canada, crosses the finish line to win the Big Ten cross country run today over the four-mile Washington Park course. Kennedy ran the distance in 19 minutes, six seconds, finishing about 100 yards ahead of Iowa's Charlie Jones.It was a new record for the distance, however the four-mile course was not surveyed before the race.
