Caption: Among delegates who showed up for the Minnesota State Republican Convention was Otto Thunder, a Chippewa Indian from the Red Lake Indian Reservation. He wore his Indian garb and brought along his tomahawk, too.Otto Thunder, a Chippewa Indian from the Red Lake Indian Reservation at Redby, Minn., and a delegate to the Minnesota State Republican Convention, wears his Indian dress and holds his tomahawk at the opening session today in St. Paul. Also members of the Beltrami County delegation are Doug Cann (center), and Mrs. F.R. Weddel, both of Bemidji, Minn.
