Caption: Despite a booming lunch trade, a sparse dinner crowd made the 1 ? year-old Vannelli Detroit restaurant unprofitable. Downtown Detroiters were shocked Tuesday to find the restaurant closed, where seats had rarely been empty during lunch rushes. The problem, however, was that there were rarely anything but empty seats in the evening.
