Caption: Pasadena, Calif., April 26 - Ear for Billion-Mile 'Hearing' - This giant metal antenna, capable of tracking spacecraft as far as the planet Pluto, will be dedicated Friday. It sits on the Mojave Desert near Barstow, Calif., rising 234 feet from the ground. Jet Propulsion Laboratory will operate it for the government.
