Caption: Jute Orientals of BangladeshTechnology has done something pretty clever this time producing a rug that looks like real Oriental, has excellent wearing quality, and cost less than half of what you would expect.The innovation involves jute?the natural (and rather ordinary)fiber of East Indian origin. It?s commonly used to make rope, burlap and rag backing. Jute is now develops, can be refined to take lovely dye colors. Woven in Bangladesh in traditional patterns, the jutes lag also have a beautiful sheen that comes as a total surprise.Tabriz, Bokhara, Heriz and Kerman designs are available?not all styles and colors in every size, however.
