Caption: Under A CloudA vast Cloud of smog hangs low over Los Angeles, while the city seeks ways to lift it. Last October the stifling haze lasted for three weeks. So severe has the problem become in many industrial cities, that President Eisenhower recognized it in his recent message on health. Studios on air pollution and ways to lessen it are being made on federal, state and local levels.
