Caption: Berlin & Farro cleanup begins -- Richard Parks picks up his mail Friday near the security barricades at the Berlin & Farro toxic waste site. Workers began excavating lagoons suspected to contain cyanide, a pesticide and hydrochloric acid Friday. Law enforcement agents sealed off teh area, patrolling with cars, dirt-bikes and a helicopter.
