1978 Press Photo clay pipe 19th century detroit river

Caption: The British lion decorates one of the clay pipes recovered from the Detroit River bottom at Amherstbung. The name of the pipe-maker - Williams - is inscribed on the stem. Searches also found cannonballs, bayonets, bottles and coins from the 19th century.
