Caption: The younger of the Mahre twins (by four minutes) Steve takes to road on his motocross bike in the off-season, (top left). Although he has been largely overshadowed by his "older" brother Phil on the international ski circuit, Steve proved to the world in February 1982 (top right) that he too is a legitimate threat in international skiing. Steve is working toward the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia - FEBRUARY 7-19 (bottom left) where ABC Sports will televise a record 63? hours of coverage in the United States. Steve spends lots of off-slope time with his family and here (bottom right) he is pool-side with younger Mahre.
