In a lawsuit, the author claims the law violates his constitutional rights. Mailer was divorced from his fourth'wife, Beverly, in March. despite Mailer's claim then that he was broke, Mrs.Mailer was awarded $375 a week for seven years, plus child support and high school and College tuition costs for their two teenage sons.she is appealing that decision, saying it isn't high enough.
