Caption: John Mackey, member of the Baltimore Colts and president of the NFL Players Association, comments at an informal press conference following the opening session of the Player Association meeting here. Mackey commented that of the 72 per cent response of all the players in the NFL, 85 per cent preferred natural grass to artificial turf. Also aired was the players discontent with the option clause.
