Caption: (BX3) CAMBRIDGE, MASS., JAN. 24 -- GIRL TAKES OVER CRIMSON -- Miss Linda C. McVeigh, 19, a Radcliffe student from Anaheim, Calif., has become the first woman managing editor of the Harvard Crimson, student daily newspaper for Harvard University. As managing editor, Miss McVeigh will run a staff of 30, about a third of them girls, and be responsible for the news pages. the Crimson has daily circulation of 4,200 and usually runs six to eight pages.
