Description
Caption: NY26-Feb. 26) KHRUSHCHEV WASN`T THERE-- Garbed in Russian-styled coat and caracul hat, British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan prepared to leave Moscow`s Vnukovo airport today for a four-day visit to Kiev and Leningrad. Soviet premier Khrushchev, booked to accompany the British statesman on the tour, didn`t even show up at the airport after his anti-western speech yesterday evoked some sharp words from Macmillan. Others identifiable, from left, are British foreign secretary Selwyn Lloyd, Soviet ambassador to Britain, Jacob Malik, profiled and mostly hidden, and Red foreign minister Andrei Gromvko.
