Caption: LUCKY HORSESHOE BAND -- The "Lucky Horseshoe Band" was a part of the early school days of Mrs. George McGovern, the wife of the Democratic presidential nominee. Mrs McGovern, then Eleanor Stegeberg, back row right, attended a rural grade school near Woonsocket, S.D. with her twin sister Ila, second from left, second row, now Mrs. Robert Pennington of Washington, D.C.
