Description
Caption: This is view of the front yard of President Johnson?s boyhood home in Johnson City, Texas. It will be dedicated as a public shrine on May 13. A few feet off one of the two l-shaped porches on the one-story frame building is a covered well with an oaken bucket, left. Johnson?s family and his wife, Lady Bird, spent a year-and-a-half long effort to restore the President?s home as it was in his schooldays from about 1913 to 1926.
