Description
Caption: WASHINGTON, MAY 14--REPORT ON POVERTY AREA TOUR--Reps. David Martin, R-Neb., left, and Gene Snyder, R-Ky., pose today with photos they said were taken on their tour of American poverty areas. At a news conference, they said the photos are views of a house, at right, on land in Alabama owned by Mrs. Lyndon Johnson, and of some of the people who live in a house on the Alabama land. The White House said yesterday that several elderly families occupy tenant houses on land which Mrs. Johnson owns in Alabama.
