Caption: Actor Leon Janney, 63, who starred in vaudeville as a two-year-old and made his first movie at age 10. He played later in a number of "Our Gang" comedies and was featured in such film classics as "Abie's Irish Rose" and "Penrod and Sam". In addition to his appearances on the air and the screen, he won acclaim for his performances on stock theater and on the Broadway stage in roles that ranged from the juvenile leads in "Seventeen" and "Ah, Wilderness!" to character parts in such musicals as "Damn Yankees," "Silk Stockings" and "Threepenny Opera." Died in Guadalajara, Mexico.
